The New York Giants have signed former Baltimore Ravens defensive back and TCU standout Ar’Darius Washington to a one-year deal worth a reported $3 million. Washington, an undrafted free agent, spent five seasons with the Ravens and played in 29 games. The 5-foot-8, 180-pound 26-year-old registered 85 total tackles, three sacks, two forced fumbles and two interceptions over his five-year stint in Baltimore.
Washington’s best season came in 2024, when he appeared in all 17 regular season games and recorded 64 tackles with eight pass breakups and two interceptions. Despite suffering a torn Achilles over the offseason, Washington returned for four games in 2025, logging seven tackles, one sack and one forced fumble.
At TCU, Washington was the Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year and a Freshman All-American in 2019. Washington, who was named an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention in 2020, declared for the NFL Draft after three years with the Horned Frogs. Washington had 62 tackles, 12 pass breakups and five interceptions for TCU.
