Eintracht Frankfurt left-back Nathaniel Brown is getting his turn in the spotlight, having earned successive call-ups to Julian Nagelsmann’s Germany men’s national team squad. The 22-year-old is having a strong
season, his second starting in the Bundesliga, and as a result is catching some transfer attention as well.
From Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, as captured by @iMiaSanMia_GER:
Bayern, Dortmund, Leverkusen, and Leipzig have their eye on Nathaniel Brown (21). Eintracht Frankfurt with Markus Krösche, however, wants a transfer fee of 60 million euros for the left back. He has also received inquiries from England. [@Plettigoal, TUdS]
That’s a who’s who of Bundesliga clubs with more muscle than Frankfurt, who could look to cash in on the youngster they signed from Nürnberg in January of 2024. Brown’s national team future is an obvious draw for Bayern, as Germany’s leading club. The Bavarians also have reserve left-back Raphaël Guerreiro on an expiring contract, although starter Alphonso Davies is well-established as one of the team’s top stars. Hiroki Itō is still around, too — the left-back/center-back making his own return from a serious injury.
Will Brown stay in Germany, or will the Premier League allure be too much to turn down at this stage of his career?
