A quiet Wednesday changed when there were reports that the Las Vegas Raiders will have a second interview with Seattle Seahawks offensive Klint Kubiak, the hottest candidate without a job on the market.
It has been believed Kubiak is the Raiders’ top choice and now, in an important move, he is willing to talk to them again.
Also, veteran NFL reporter Tony Pauline reported Kubiak will talk to both the Arizona Cardinals and Raiders (they are the only two teams of the 10 teams with openings that remain open) in the coming days. Pauline reported Kubiak is not expected to go to Arizona, but he’s open to taking the Raiders’ job.
There have been reports that state Kubiak, who will coach in the Super Bowl on February 8, may opt to stay in Seattle in the 2026 season. He can agree to go coach somewhere at any time, but can’t be officially hired until after the game.
The Raiders are also believed to be interested in Denver Broncos passing-game coordinator Davis Webb and Los Angeles Rams offensive coordinator Mike LeFleur. But, until he says otherwise, the focus appears to be on Kubiak in Las Vegas.
