Julian Alvarez has seemingly taken a step towards sealing a move from Atletico to Barcelona by confirming he wants a transfer to “fulfill his dreams.”
The Argentina international is wanted at Barcelona to replace Robert Lewandowski and a €100 million bid has reportedly already been lodged.
Barcelona are expected to return with an improved bid now that Alvarez has made his wishes clear, but it’s been said they will not match the €150m offer previously made by Real Madrid.
Diario Sport are reporting that
Barcelona could offer around €130m for Alvarez, and the club may feel they now have the upper hand given the forward obviously wants out of Los Colchoneros.
