Class of 2026 5-star small forward Baba Oladotun will announce his college decision on Wednesday, November 19, at Blake High School, according to ESPN’s Paul Biancardi. The 6-foot-10, 195-pound wing from
Silver Spring, Maryland, is choosing between Arkansas, Georgetown, Kentucky, and Maryland.
Oladotun was originally part of the class of 2027, where he was ranked as the No. 1 overall player in the nation before reclassifying to 2026. Following the move, he currently sits at No. 10 overall and remains one of the most versatile and intriguing prospects in high school basketball.
Kentucky, under head coach Mark Pope, offered Oladotun a scholarship in September 2024 and hosted him for an official visit in October. Pope and his staff have prioritized length, athleticism, and skill versatility on the wing, which are all attributes Oladotun brings in abundance.
The talented forward has drawn comparisons to NBA hybrid forwards for his ability to handle the ball, stretch the floor, and defend multiple positions.
With strong local ties to Maryland and heavy recruiting pushes from both SEC and Big East programs, Oladotun’s decision could swing momentum for whichever program lands him, and Kentucky fans will be watching closely when the announcement comes on Wednesday afternoon.
