The Miami Dolphins claimed Jamree Kromah off waivers on Saturday, adding the former Chicago Bears edge rusher to the team’s 53-man active roster. To make roster space, the Dolphins waived edge rusher Robert Beal, Jr.
Kromah began his NFL career as an undrafted free agent whom the Bears signed in 2024. He began his rookie year on Chicago’s practice squad before signing with the New England Patriots shortly after the start of 2024. He was waived a monthly later, returning to the Bears’ practice squad.
He then spent 2025 on Chicago’s practice squad before making it to the active roster for 2026. He was waived this week after the Bears acquired defensive tackle Jeffrey Simmons in a trade.
He has appeared in two games, recording two tackles.
Beal played in two games with the Dolphins this season, his first in Miami after three seasons with the San Francisco 49ers. He has one tackle.
Kromah joins Chop Robinson, Josh Uche, Malik Herring, and Rodney McGraw as Miami’s edge rushers.
The Dolphins face the New England Patriots on Sunday. Kickoff is set for 4:25 p.m. Eastern.
