Bayern Munich youth player Jonathan Asp Jensen appears to be leaving Munich again, this time on a permanent move to Lazio in Italy’s Serie A. According to Italian transfer market columnist Alfredo Pedulla, Lazio has agreed to terms with Asp Jensen and his camp. Lazio still have to come to an agreement with Bayern on a transfer fee and they are hesitant to agree on a high sell-on percentage but hope to find a solution that works for all parties.
Asp Jensen came to the Bayern Academy in 2022 and represented
the club at the U-17 and U-19 levels. He also had 36 appearances for Bayern II over two seasons and scored seven goals. His lone appearance for the first team came in the 2024/25 in the Bundesliga season. Last season, Asp Jensen was sent on loan to Swiss Super League side, Grasshopper Club Zurich. He had 40 appearances for the first-division side, with nine goals and six assists. His performance barely helped his team survive relegation.
Do you think this move is the right step for Asp Jensen?
