Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has talked up new signing Marcus Rashford and thinks he can be a great asset for the Catalan giants.
Rashford has joined on a season-long loan from Manchester United but will be hoping he can impress and earn a permanent transfer to Camp Nou.
Lewandowski has been asked about his new team-mate and thinks he has what it takes to succeed and help Hansi Flick’s side this season.
“He has pretty huge potential. You know as a player, he has everything. He’s fast, with the
ball, he’s really good, one-against-ones,” he told ESPN.
“He can help us a lot and really should. Of course that expectation can be high for him but if shows his best football he will be really good and I hope he can help us a lot this season.”
Rashford made his La Liga debut in Saturday’s 3-0 win over Real Mallorca which Lewandowski missed due to injury. The striker is being tipped to be available for Barca’s next game against Levante on Saturday.
