According to a report from Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich star winger Michael Olise might not be able play against Heidenheim on Saturday.
The Frenchman underwent a procedure on his eye
earlier this week and has been unable to train with the team:
Michael Olise underwent a minor eye procedure after the game against Mainz and didn’t train with the team Tuesday and Wednesday. The Frenchman was able to resume light running today, but remains a doubt for the last game of the year against Heidenheim.
Luckily, Bayern Munich can cover for Olise if he cannot go. Lennart Karl, Serge Gnabry, and Luis Díaz are all available to line up alongside Harry Kane in the attack, but Olise’s status is questionable and Nicolas Jackson is away for international duty at AFCON.
If there is any doubt about Olise, Bayern Munich will likely hold him out considering how important he is to the long-term prospects for the club.
