UFC lightweight champion Ilia Topuria has had enough of Conor McGregor and he’s willing to meet up with “Notorious” in Madrid, Spain next week to settle whatever beef they have.
Despite their potential rivalry, Topuria and McGregor share some glaring similarities that have been called out over the years. Not only does Topuria have tattoos similar to McGregor’s and carries himself like a young “Notorious” once did, but he has also ascended the UFC ranks in rapid fashion much like McGregor. Both are also known
for there punching power and ability to turn in highlight-reel knockouts.
While McGregor has paid respect to Topuria in the past, there’s also a viral clip of the Irish superstar inviting Topuria to fight with the threat of “slapping his nose off.” Any admiration Topuria once had for McGregor has subsequently went out the window, especially after seeing “Notorious” fail to knock out an average man.
The pros still think McGregor was better in his prime.
Earlier this week, Topuria joined Adin Ross’ stream and McGregor’s name was brought up. Ross then showed Topuria the viral clip of McGregor’s trash talk and it sparked a response from the UFC lightweight champion that may or may not back McGregor off.

“I’m in Madrid March 7th,” said Topuria. “Come and try to do something.”
“I’m not accepting your invitation. I’m inviting you. March 7th. If you want me to send you a specific location I’m gonna do that.“
