Barcelona are making waves in the transfer market again after making a surprise bid for Borussia Dortmund star Karim Adeyemi.
The transfer has seemingly come out of nowhere, but multiple outlets are reporting that Adeyemi has agreed terms and it’s now down to the two club to reach an agreement.
Adeyemi is into the final year of his contract at Dortmund and has reportedly failed to reach an agreement over a new deal, per Sky Sport Germany.
The Germany star is represented by super agent Jorge Mendes who has offered Adeyemi to Barcelona on several previous occasions but a deal has been impossible due to the club’s financial situation, according to Diario Sport.
Adeyemi has now been offered again and is keen to head to Camp Nou, with Dortmund having told Barcelona they want 40 million euros for the 24-year-old.
The report says that Barcelona will try to negotiate a lower fee and could also offer to include players in the deal. Roony Bardghji and Guille Fernández are the two players mentioned by Sport.
Rooney is expected to leave this summer after becoming frustrated by his lack of minutes, while Fernandez has been linked with Dortmund in the past.
