What is the story about?
If you were wondering why the Astros chose to recall Ronel Blanco earlier today and not Mike Burrows, it turns out we now have a legitimate reason, courtesy of this report from Brian McTaggart of MLB.com:
Burrows, who was on the IL with right elbow neuritis, now is battling shoulder inflammation.
Two different injuries to the
same pitching arm at the same time have now pushed Burrows timetable for return to an unknown point. Whether or not Burrows is able to return to the Astros this season is very much in question.
