Maryland women’s golf emerged victorious at the Evie Odom Invitational in Virginia on Saturday.
The Terps tied with Penn State for a high score of 854, which was 14 over par. Individually, Surapa Janthamunee impressed, as she was the only Maryland player to shoot under par. She had a final score of 209, which was good for -1 and second overall in the individual standings.
Other notable performers included Chananyu Chowiwattana and Daniela Burgos Ortega, who both tied for 15th place individually with
a score of 215.
Maryland will next compete at the Landfall Tradition event on Oct. 24-26.
