Recently, Roman Reigns has drawn some criticism for not being around to help LA Knight build their World Heavyweight title match at Money in the Bank this weekend. It’s not a new knock on OTC1, who’s been shrugging off the “part-timer” jabs from fans, media critics, and his opponents for years now.
Last year at this time, Reigns was off for much of the late summer and fall, mostly filming Street Fighter. He feuded with Bronson Reed around a write-off, and made a dramatic return just after Brock Lesnar
to round out Survivor Series’ men’s WarGames.
Street Fighter comes out next week, so Roman’s absence over the past several weeks was to promote that film. He’s obviously back for the Knight match in New Orleans on Saturday night. With The Bloodline vs. The 946 WWE’s hottest stories right now — not to mention a rare, fully-organic faction vs. faction feud for the premium live event’s WarGames match — Reigns figures to be a bigger part of the Survivor Series build in 2026.
We can now say that more conclusively*, because the WWE World Heavyweight champ’s schedule for November just dropped:

The announcement also makes it official that WWE is doing two SmackDown tapings next month, one to account for travel to Crown Jewel — still scheduled for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia despite increasing hostilities in the country and region.
Oct. 19: Raw at Pechanga Arena in San Diego
Nov. 2: Raw & SmackDown Taping at Barclays Center in Brooklyn
Nov. 7: Crown Jewel at Riyadh Season Stadium in Saudi Arabia
Nov. 9: Raw at Greenville, South Carolina’s Bon Secours Wellness Arena
Nov 23: Raw & SmackDown Taping at Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas
Nov 28: Survivor Series: WarGames at Daikin Park in Houston
Nov. 30: Raw in North Little Rock, Arkansas’ Simmons Bank Arena
There’s only be one Monday night off on that schedule. Ready for a WarGames build with more Roman Reigns in it this year?
* Card subject to change and all that.
