The results are in, Rumblers! How did you all vote in our poll asking whether or not you’re confident in the direction of the Buffalo Bills after the team’s Week 1 win? You already shnow, right?
No one circles the wagons like Bills Mafia! The only surprise right now is that there are some people who aren’t confident the team is headed in the right direction. Though, maybe it’s not all that surprising when you think about the situation.
One Bills Drive let Sean McDermott go after nearly a decade, then
wound up hiring offensive coordinator Joe Brady as the new head coach. Co-owner Terry Pegula decided to give general manager Brandon Beane a promotion to include president of football operations in his title, and it’s still Super Bowl or bust.
If Week 1 is anything to believe, the Bills are just fine on offense, but you better get used to some growing pains as new defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard fits most of McDermott’s starters into new roles within the 3-4 base system.
As for the results, 89% of Rumblings voters are confident the Bills are headed in the right direction. It’s a healthy number, certainly ripe for rising a bit or falling based on the results each week.
Will the Bills improve to 2-0, and, likewise fan confidence, after their game against the Detroit Lions tonight? Fo Some will need a Super Bowl before being won over. What are the odds? We’ll find out what’s true soon enough!
In national polls this week, we asked football fans to weigh in on two interesting topics. The first was which team will have the best offense for the 2026 NFL season. Leading the way with 42% of the vote is the Chicago Bears.
In second are the Bills with 28% of the vote. The only other team that was somewhat close to either the Bears or Bills in these results were the San Francisco 49ers with 15% of the vote. Interestingly, the Los Angeles Rams didn’t feature here.
It’s clear that the results seem to follow how each team performed in Week 1, so we’ll need a few more games’ worth of data to come to a truly meaningful conclusion.
We also asked fans to weigh in with their thoughts on the team with the worst quarterback situation. Why share here since it’s obvious the Bills are nowhere in this discussion? Well, it’s because two of the AFC East rivals are on the list: the Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots.
It’s a bit of a shock to see the Patriots listed here, given Drake Maye’s run at the NFL MVP last season. Again, is this more Week 1 bias? Time will tell.
