The Utah Jazz have signed Rip City Remix forward Blake Hinson to a two-way contract, as reported by Shams Charania of ESPN. Hinson is the second Remix player to be poached by another NBA team, following the New York Knicks’ acquisition of guard Dillon Jones in January.
Hinson, a 6-foot-8
volume scorer, averaged 23.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 28 games played for the Remix. He is slated to participate in both the G League 3-Point Contest and as the G League Next Up tournament.
The Remix signed Hinson last summer. He went undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft, signing a two-way deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. After being waived in September of 2024, Hinson averaged 17.7 points for the Santa Cruz Warriors in 50 games played during the 2024-2025 G League season.
