There’s a pretty good chance that red-hot light heavyweight contender, Carlos Ulberg, will challenge for the 205-pound title after disposing of Dominick Reyes at UFC Perth last weekend in Australia. That
said, it remains to be seen which opponent will be wearing the division crown on Sunday morning.
Magomed Ankalaev defends the light heavyweight title in a rematch against former 205-pound kingpin Alex Pereira atop the UFC 320 pay-per-view (PPV) event this Sat. night (Oct. 4, 2025) at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. “Big Ank” outpointed “Poatan” at UFC 313 earlier this year in “Sin City.”
Here’s how Ulberg stacks up against both combatants, according to BetOnline.ag.
Carlos Ulberg: +210
Magomed Ankalaev: -250
Carlos Ulberg: +155
Alex Pereira: -180
”Black Jag” has slightly better odds against Pereira.
“I would like for Ankalaev [to win],” Ulberg said at the UFC Perth post-fight press conference. “I just feel he is a dominant opponent or someone in the light heavyweight division, he’s been quite dominant. I would like to take him out so that when I do, it just means that no one has been able to beat him other than Paul Craig but me. I want to do that. He’s good. He’s awesome and I want those challenges.”
