About 2.5 (two and a half) per cent of voters did not pick Moisés Caicedo to start this game, which is a weird choice considering that Moi has been sitting on his thumbs for well over a week now, since his sending off against Arsenal. He’s still suspended for one more game in the Premier League, so surely he’s raring to go tonight, against Atalanta (though hopefully a bit more under control — not too much, we don’t want to take the edge off his game, just a tiny bit).
Other than Caicedo, ten other
players curried favor with at least half the voters — including youngster Josh Acheampong, who hasn’t had as much playing time as many of us would like to see. Estêvão gets rewarded for his star turn last time out in this competition with the second most votes among non-goalkeepers.
Reece James (40%) and Wesley Fofana (46%) earn a rest from the WAGNH Community, while Alejandro Garnacho (49%), Jamie Gittens (41%), and Marc Guiu (41%) just miss out. Jorrel Hato (33%), Benoît Badiashile (30%), and Facundo Buonanotte (23%) also got a bit of support, but not nearly enough.
4-2-3-1 (81%)
