It has been an unusual fall for head coach P.J. Fleck and co., at least as far as recruiting goes. There have been a flurry of commitments (and, in a few cases, decommitments) as the Minnesota Golden Gophers
seek to put the finishing touches on this recruiting class ahead of Early National Signing Day.
The latest to grab an oar? New Jersey wide receiver Quayd Hendryx.

Scouting Report
Hendryx made 36 receptions for 665 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior this season. He is a three-sport athlete who also plays basketball and competes in track, boasting a 21.47 mark in the 200m and bringing home state titles in both the 100m and 200m this past spring. As you might have guessed, Hendryx’s speed is the first thing you notice on film. But he also has an excellent catch radius and reliable hands, which pair nicely with his ability to stretch defenses in the vertical passing game. With his size, look for Hendryx to be a slot receiver at the college level, with the opportunity to be an outside receiver if he can develop in the weight room.
