Good evening, folks. We blinked and it’s mid-September.
The Braves are enjoying a much-needed off day after a stretch of thirteen straight games. This particular road trip finishes in Houston, where a win will clinch the Braves’ playoff berth as they inch toward that division crown.
Did we secure postseason tickets this morning? How are we feeling? I, personally, am staring at my Wild Card tickets with some dread.
There’s not too much for tonight’s slate of games for our scoreboard watchers. The red-hot
Padres stomped Colorado while the Dodgers clinched the NL West in Cincinnati earlier today. But if I had to guess, most of y’all will be chatting amongst yourselves about the Phillies/Mets as they open a four-game set.
Either way, the floor is yours. I leave you with the Stripers’ new ballpark kitten, ChiPurr Jones, throwing out the first pitch.
