Real Madrid and Brahim Díaz had reached an agreement to extend the player’s contract until the summer of 2030, according to a report from Cadena SER’s Antón Meana. The two sides agreed on that extension
but the new deal hasn’t been signed yet, per that same report.
In that context, Meana suggests that Brahim Díaz has received offers from other clubs as the player wants to play more minutes. Díaz has played 484 minutes for Real Madrid this season and feels he hasn’t been getting a proper opportunity to prove his value as a starter.
It’s worth noting that Brahim hasn’t been all that effective for Real Madrid this season, scoring one goal and delivering two assists in the minutes he’s played. The attacker has found some momentum with Morocco during the Africa Cup of Nations, however, as he’s already scored three goals in the three games they’ve played so far in the tournament.
