The Pittsburgh Steelers will be donning their fan-favorite color-rush uniforms in Week 15 when they host the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football. Additionally, they appear to be making a change to their field
that will have fans excited.
The Steelers will be painting the end zones gold for Monday night, and presumably the rest of the season. This comes from the X account, Pittsburgh Clothing Co., which posted a screenshot from the Acrisure Stadium live weather feed that shows that the end zones are being painted.
The Steelers have made this a final-month tradition over the last number of years, as they can’t have their end zones painted due to sharing the stadium with the University of Pittsburgh. The gold end zones have featured many a memorable moment in the last four seasons. Whether it be Kenny Pickett throwing a game-winning touchdown to George Pickens against the Las Vegas Raiders on Christmas Eve in 2022, or Mason Rudolph and Pickens dominating the Bengals in 2023, the Steelers would love to add to that collection of memorable nights in Week 15.
