Julian Alvarez’s agent has rejected speculation that Real Madrid have joined the race to land the Argentina international this summer.
Barcelona have reportedly made Alvarez their top target and have made an opening bid of €100 million for the striker.
New speculation has now claimed that Alvarez could be the mystery €150m signing that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has been teasing the world about.
Perez has claimed his club will offer big money for a new Galactico who is at a Champions League
club, is not Michael Olise or Erling Haaland and doesn’t play in the Premier League.
Alvarez’s agent Fernando Hidalgo has been asked about the links but says he’s heard nothing.
“We have no information on the matter and no one has contacted us about it,” he told 365scores.
Alvarez’s future is expected to dominate the headlines throughout the summer as Barca try to bring him to Camp Nou.
Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal have also been linked with Alvarez, while Atletico are keen to keep hold of him and are said to want at least €150m for the Argentina if he is dold.
