Suddenly, the 2025 is nearing the end. The Atlanta Braves welcome the New York Mets for the final regular season match-up of the two teams this season. Despite the struggles the Braves have displayed for most of the season, one area they have excelled in is beating the Mets.
Through the first 10 games, Atlanta has won seven times, including taking two-out-of-three games in Queens 10 days ago. While the Braves are still well below .500, they have won 10 of their last 12 games. Atlanta might have only
a wish-and-a-prayer’s chance at a wish-and-a-prayer’s chance of making the post-season, but they can make the post-season path the Mets take that much thornier by winning this weekend’s series.
The weather doesn’t look great this weekend with a significant chance of rain all weekend. Friday night’s game is an Apple TV+ exclusive, so if you don’t have that, you’ll get to enjoy a baseball game the old fashion way – on the radio.
Friday night will also be the reunion of the 1995 World Series Champion Braves team, so if you are at the stadium, enjoy seeing the guys that brought the first World Series to Atlanta.
