The Pittsburgh Steelers opened up their season with one revenge-game win, and now they’ll look to get another. Pittsburgh will have its home opener on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks – the same team that traded DK Metcalf to the Steelers in March.
Metcalf was asked what it will be like going against his former teammates Riq Woolen and Devon Witherspoon in Seattle’s secondary, to which he said he knows head coach Mike Macdonald will have them ready.
“Our practice reps going against each other, we
have history,” Metcalf said via Nick Farabaugh. “Just the way they play the game, I know Coach Macdonald is going to have them ready. Whatever scheme they play, they’ll play it to the best of their ability.”
The Seahawks drafted Metcalf in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He was a two-time Pro Bowler during his time in Seattle. Could his first touchdown as a Steeler come against his former team?
