East coast road trips to stadiums without roofs are the pits. Today’s series opener between the Mariners and Nationals will begin in a delay due to bad weather in the area. The latest: this game is officially in a delay, but no start time has been given. Shannon Drayer posted that the tarp had briefly come off the field, but then posted the tarp is back
on and the game is officially delayed.
