Ok. I reserve the right…..1 time a year…..to turn the page on a game and the takes. I am playing that card today…..for a couple of reasons. My teams (Notre Dame, Holy Cross, and the Bears) are 0-7. Holy Cross has lost by a combined 7 points in 3 losses and ND by 4 total and the Bears….they’re the Bears. On top of that, I found out I will be out of my house and living in an AirBnB for 6-8 weeks due to some issues with our duct work/insulation. So needless, to say…I NEED A WIN. Now, for the takes today I cannot
handle any more negativity in my life, so I am going full blown optimist. I encourage you to do the same…..it might cheer you up and what’s the worst that can happen? (gulp) NOW LETS GET ONTO THE TAKES for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Purdue Boilermakers!

Christian Gray has 2 picks, including a pick 6
Gray has been pretty atrocious this year and has not made the big plays when they are in front of him. He has elite skills, but has clearly lacked focus to start this year, and this is his get right spot. He will be locked in, especially with Leonard Moore potentially limited. He also has quite the history of bouncing back in big spots and making plays in the biggest moments. 2024 A&M breakup………2024 USC Pick 6…….2024 PSU Pick……Needless to say, he will have a monster game and finish with 2 picks, including a pick 6. Purdue QB Ryan Browne has also thrown 4 picks in 3 games, so this is the week to do it.

Jeremiyah Love has 200 APY in the first half
He had a much better game against the Aggies…..but still hasn’t broken loose. He will release his frustrations and have a very long rush TD and a slant/screen he takes to the house. Look for him to average 18+ yards a touch through the first half before a quiet finish riding the pine.
