Injuries have been one of the stories in the early part of the season on offense for the Jets, but things have begun to move in a positive direction. Rookie Omar Cooper returned to the lineup in Week 6 after missing four games and posted the first 100 yard game of his career.
As the practice week begins, the Jets are getting more good news.
Starting wide receiver Adonai Mitchell, who hasn’t played since Week 2, returned to practice on Wednesday, albeit in a limited capacity. Mitchell has been nursing
a finger injury.
Dylan Parham, who left the team’s Week 3 loss to the Lions with a knee injury, also returned to the practice field.
And while running back Breece Hall, who was also injured against the Lions, did not practice, Aaron Glenn offered some hope for his potential availability in Week 7 against the Dolphins.
We will find out more about the availability of these starters as we approach the weekend, but the injury pendulum is finally swinging in the right direction for the Jets.
