Florida State’s offseason turnover saw another offensive player declare their intentions to enter the transfer portal, with redshirt freshman Elijah Moore announcing Monday he’ll be spending his next season outside
of Tallahassee.
Moore becomes the second wide receiver to announce they will enter the transfer portal with after Camdon Frier declared his intentions earlier this month.
Moore enrolled in the summer of 2024 and was expected not to see the field last season, but played in four games while maintaining his redshirt and flashing potential. With an NFL frame and uncertainty at the wide receiver position heading into this season, Moore seemed poised to take a step in 2025, but he only caught three passes, even with the Seminoles struggling to find consistent options outside of Duce Robinson.
The redshirt freshman is now the sixth player in FSU’s 2024 recruiting class, the best under Mike Norvell, to either transfer or announce their intention to transfer, including five of the top 11 ranked players according to 247Sports.
