Tennessee picked up another 2026 commitment on Sunday, landing tight end Luca Wolf from the NFL Academy. Wolf had previously been committed to Cal, but the Volunteers turned up the pressure over the last
couple of months following Carson Sneed’s flip to North Carolina.
The 6-5, 246 pound prospect was born in Austria and is of Filipino descent. He grew up playing multiple sports, mainly basketball and soccer, but has since made the move to the football side. He’s learning the game while attending the NFL Academy in London. Wolf becomes the lone tight end now in the class for Tennessee after the Volunteers added both DaSaahn Brame and Jack Van Dorselaer in last year’s class.
Wolf was on campus this weekend for his official visit just a handful of weeks after getting his offer. He also held offers from Virginia, MTSU, South Florida, UCF and a several others. Wolf has only visited Tennessee and Cal so far through his process.
According to 247Sports, Wolf is a three-star prospect. He ranks 1,353rd overall in the class and checks in at 76th in the tight end rankings.
So Tennessee checks one of their final boxes here with Wolf, bringing them to 24 commitments in the class of 2026. Per 247Sports, that’s good enough for the eighth-ranked class in the country with a little over a month left until early signing day.
