Barcelona have been handed some good news in the wake of Thursday’s disappointing defeat to Atletico in the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey as Raphinha has returned to training with his team-mates.
The
Brazilian has missed Barcelona’s last three games due to an overload but was back in full training once again on Friday.
According to Mundo Deportivo, there is optimism that Raphinha will be able to play some part in Barcelona’s next game against Girona in La Liga on Monday.
It wasn’t all good news, however, as Marcus Rashford is still in the gym as he tries to shrug off a knee problem.
Hansi Flick will want a response from his players after their performance against Diego Simeone’s side and they could head into the match in second place in the table.
Real Madrid play on Saturday against Real Sociedad and a victory for Los Blancos would send them top ahead of Barcelona’s match at Montilivi.
Raphinha has been missed by Barcelona recently and his return should provide the team with a much-needed boost after a tough week.
