Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey and linebacker Roquan Smith are both expected to miss multiple weeks due to injuries suffered in Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Humphrey’s calf injury is “not as bad as it could have been,” per Rapoport. He also reported that Smith is dealing with a Grade 2 hamstring strain.
Their absences will further deplete a Ravens defense that is already missing several key players. Safety Ar’Darius Washington tore his Achilles in the spring
and defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike suffered a neck injury in Week 2; both are out for the season. Veteran outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury, and second-year OLB Adisa Isaac has yet to play this year due to a dislocated elbow. DTs Travis Jones and Broderick Washington were both sidelined in Week 4; the latter landed on IR and will be out for at least three more games.
