BKB Bare Knuckle Boxing today announced the heavyweight showdown between former BKB champion Mick Terrill and top contender Kamil Sokolowski for the BKB 60 main event, locked and loaded for Sat., Oct. 10, 2026 at Utilita Arena Newcastle in Terrill’s hometown of Newcastle upon Tyne, England. In the BKB 60 co-headlining attraction, BKB Super Welterweight Champion Rolando Dy defends his belt against former BKB titleholder Scott McHugh.
“There’s nothing like fighting in front of my own people,” Terrill
said. “Newcastle has seen me become a world champion once, in this very arena, and now I get to push closer to my world title shot once again wearing BKB colors. Kamil’s tough and durable, but I’m going to give this crowd a knockout they’ll be talking about for years. Once I knock him out, I want my shot at Gustavo Trujillo for the heavyweight title.”
Tickets for BKB 60 go on sale on Aug. 24.
Elsewhere in the BKB 60 lineup, Olympic veteran and former IBF champion Joseph “JoJo” Diaz Jr. and undefeated Super Welterweight slugger Adel Altamimi return to action against opponents to be named. Diaz Jr. is coming off a first-round knockout against Nate Williams at BKB 56: Los Angeles back in July, the same card that saw Altamimi score “Fight of the Night” in his epic victory over Eduardo Perez.
“Newcastle has always been one of the most passionate fight cities in the country, and BKB 60 is exactly the kind of card this crowd deserves,” said BKB CEO David Tetreault. “Mick Terrill headlining at home against a live threat like Kamil Sokolowski, and Rolando Dy defending his title against Scott McHugh, gives fans two must-see fights on the same night. This is a huge night for BKB and for bare knuckle boxing in the North East.”
