Indiana men’s basketball is hosting Trevor Manhertz, a 4-star small forward in the class of 2027 out of Christ School just outside Asheville, North Carolina, for an official visit on Wednesday, according
to a report from Dushawn London of 247Sports. Manhertz later posted a photo at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall to his Instagram story.
Manhertz is ranked as the 26th highest-rated small forward and 91st highest-rated prospect overall in the class of 2027, per the 247Sports composite. He’s ranked as the 18th highest-rated small forward and 80th highest-rated prospect overall, per On3’s Rivals Industry Ranking.
Indiana already has one commitment in the class in 4-star guard Chase Branham. The program recently hosted another small forward in the class, Jack Kohnen, for a visit. The Hoosiers have prioritized recruiting wings in early going of DeVries’ tenure as head coach.
As for Manhertz, Indiana is getting in on his recruitment fairly early as a high-major. He holds offers from Charlotte, UNC Asheville, Boston and Northeastern, among others.
