What is the story about?
WHITE SULPHER SPRINGS, W.Va. — It is Day 2 of New York Giants training camp at The Greenbrier Sports Performance Center. This will be the first day of six practices in West Virginia fans will be able to attend.
A few things worth paying attention to:
- The facility sits in a peaceful section of the Allegheny Mountains. How much will the presence of fans change that? If you are in attendance, say hello. You might find yourself in a video.
- Will Malik Nabers, who practiced for the first time since tearing his ACL last season, work again?
- Braxton Berrios, Calvin Austin, and Tae Banks were among players who had good days on Wednesday. Can they build on those?
- Odell Beckham had a fairly quiet Wednesday. Will he give fans something to cheer about?
- Will we again have trains rumbling by, and helicopters landing next to the practice field? We had both on Wednesday.
- The placekicking competition. Dominic Zvada missed an extra point and a 43-yarder in six kicks on Wedneday. Ben Sauls missed a 43-yarder and a 61-yarder. The 61-yarder, the final play of practice, had plenty of distance, but was a touch to the right. Still, impressive.
