Schlotterbeck’s demands becoming clear for Borussia Dortmund (Sport Bild via GGFN)
Bayern Munich is rumored to have interest in Borussia Dortmund center-back and Germany international Nico Schlotterbeck, but BVB is making an effort to ink its star defender:
Borussia Dortmund have made
their first contract proposal for Nico Schlotterbeck. The first offer was an extension until 2030 with a base salary of €8m, but that could increase with a successful season, as well as Bundesliga bonuses worth €1m.
Bild (via GGFN) also had more info on Schlotterbeck’s requirements for a new deal with BVB:
⚫️🟡 Nico Schlotterbeck wants a guaranteed salary of €10m in his new Borussia Dortmund contract.
🇪🇸 Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are interested.
🇫🇷 The future of Dayot Upamecano could affect what happens to Schlotterbeck.
It seems as if Bayern Munich’s interest in Schlotterbeck is completely dependent on what happens with Dayot Upamecano and Kim Min-jae. Having Schlotterbeck to pair with Jonathan Tah seems like something that would be appealing to Bayern Munich if it loses a defender or two. However, both Real Madrid (mentioned above) and FC Barcelona are said to be interested in the the center-back as well, which could make things difficult.
LFC could make move for Araújo (ESPN)
FC Barcelona defender Ronald Araújo could be back on the transfer market this summer and, if so, Liverpool could get involved with the one-time Bayern Munich transfer target:
Liverpool are one of several clubs with a long-standing interest in Barcelona center back Ronald Araújo, says Sport. Juventus are also pushing to land the Uruguay international, while Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur both inquired about his availability over the summer. However, the report claims that Araújo wishes to stay at Barcelona this season, as he is targeting a UEFA Champions League triumph under Hansi Flick. The 26-year-old is under contract at Barcelona until June 2031, having joined back in 2020.

Real ready to make move for Haaland (ESPN)
Real Madrid seems like it could be lining itself up for a run at Manchester City star Erling Haaland:
An approach for Manchester City striker Erling Haaland will be made by Real Madrid if they do not sign winger Vinícius Júnior to a new contract, according to Diario Sport. It is reported that Los Blancos have shown no intention of meeting the demands of Vini Jr., 25, for a five-year deal worth €25 million a season, and they will make him available for transfer if he hasn’t signed new terms by next summer. Haaland, 25, is one of the top options to replace the Brazil forward at the Bernabéu, with club president Florentino Pérez a long-term admirer of him.
If Harry Kane decides to opt out, Bayern Munich should empty its coffers for Haaland. It would be a longshot, but it would be worth it to at least make a strong effort. Haaland was tempted by Bayern Munich once before…

Chelsea FC could be looking at a move for Crystal Palace defender Marc Guéhi:

Bayern Munich is also reportedly in the mix for Guéhi, but the Bavarians’ interest could be contingent on what happens with Dayot Upamecano and Kim Min-jae.
