Former Indiana forward Josh Harris became the first of the program’s several transfer portal entries to find a new home on Thursday morning, committing to Florida Atlantic:
Harris missed the entirety of the 2025-26 season, his lone year with the Hoosiers, due
to injury after transferring in from North Florida alongside fellow portalee Jasai Miles last offseason. He suffered a lower body injury during fall practice and was listed as out for the entirety of Indiana’s season alongside former Drexel guard Jason Drake.
He almost certainly would’ve come off the bench for the program had he been available this past season, giving Indiana a bit more flexibility in the frontcourt. He averaged 13.4 points, 7.1 rebounds and 0.6 assists per game as a freshman with the Ospreys in 2024-25.
Indiana is still working on filling in the gaps for next season with a lone returner in Trent Sisley, with the Hoosiers adding six transfer portal commitments just over a week into the portal cycle.
