Keyshawn Davis had some more trouble on the scales today, but did make weight within the time limit, meaning his Saturday rematch with Nahir Albright is official and will happen as scheduled.
Davis (14-0, 10 KO) initially came in at 140.1 lbs, just over the 140 lb limit, but came back and made the weight at 140 even.
The show will stream on DAZN tomorrow night at 8 pm ET, and Bad Left Hook will have live coverage.
For what it’s worth, Ron Goodall of Fight Hype is in Norfolk and said that he was “informed by multiple people” that the “scale may have been off.”
This isn’t just about Keyshawn, either, as chief support fighter Brian Norman Jr also missed weight at first attempt. Norman came in at 148.2, which is 0.2 lbs over the contract weight of 148. He later re-weighed at 147.8 lbs, so he’s also set for his fight with Josh Wagner, and the card goes on as anticipated.
