The 2026 season has come to its conclusion, and with it, the chaos that is the NCAA transfer portal has officially opened. While teams navigate the Mountain West-Pac-12 split, I will be keeping track of who teams lose and gain through the portal window. This article will be reposted with updates every day until the close of the transfer portal on June 22. There were quite a few additions made yesterday, so let’s take a look at them.

New Developments
Nevada
Entered Portal: 3B Katie Wetteland
(Arkansas), P Ainsley Berlingeri, P Jessica McPartland, 2B Gianna Serrano
Signed From Portal: 3B Sadie Guyette (Mt. Hood CC), SS Ashlyn Graklanoff (Austin Peay)
Outlook: Back to back days being here for the Wolf Pack, this time with a more low-key signing. Needing to bring in another shortstop to compete with Anna Braukus to fill the hole left by Haylee Engelbrecht, the Pack signed Austin Peay freshman Ashlyn Graklanoff. The Boise native slashed .200/.375/.291 in her freshman season with the Governors, adding one home run and 8 RBIs. I wouldn’t expect Graklanoff to be too much of an immediate contibutor, but she will serve as a great depth option in a place much closer to home.
UNLV
Entered Portal: P Yanina Sherwood (Houston), C Brooke Piscotta
Signed From Portal: DP Victoria Prado (Iowa State), C Ava Armuth (Fairfield)
Outlook: Another one I missed, but this time one that may end up being part of a very interesting story, along with Nevada’s commit above. Ava Armuth was the second-best hitter for the Stags in 2026, slashing .319/.451/.486 with three home runs, 20 RBIs, and a team-best 30 walks. She will serve as the successor to the outgoing Diamond Sefe, and will almost certainly be an immediate contributor. Now we get to the intruige.
Armuth, the aforementioned Graklanoff, and fellow Nevada star Rylie Haith are all from the greater Boise area, and by all accounts, are great friends with each other. Haith, in fact, lists Armuth as her best friend on her The Alliance Fastpitch profile. Armuth also tried to recruit Graklanoff to Las Vegas, but that obviously did not happen. It will be interesting to see how this triangle of friendship will hold up this season against the ferocious rivalry that exists between the Rebels and Wolf Pack.
UTEP
Entered Portal: P Arianna Flores, DP Mary Jane Nicholson, 1B Jordan Credeur, C Mallory Zylinski-Wrobel, P Hannah Jones, P Ryann Presswood, DP Paige Lassiter
Signed From Portal: UTL Mia Richards (Texas Tech), LF Lyndsey Hooker (Michigan State), P Liliana Montoya (New Mexico State), 2B Ireland Riley (Indiana State)
Outlook: Aside from having one of the coolest names I have ever heard, Indiana State’s Ireland Riley serves as a hefty dose of speed for the Miners’ 2027 lineup. Riley, who missed the last month of the year due to a left knee injury that required surgery, went 16-of-60 at the plate in her freshman season with the Sycamores, each of which was a single. She also went 3-for-4 in the base-theft department. The Miners now have a decent assortment of pitching, speed, and power in their transfer class. I like what they’re cooking down in El Paso. That is certainly not the first time somebody has said that about that city.
San Diego State
Entered Portal: DP Tylie Kitchen, P Montse Reyes-Cardenas, C Gabriella Terrones
Signed From Portal: DP Ava Sin (Seattle U), C-UT Olivia DiNardo (Nebraska), P Carley Mulcahey (Pacific)
Outlook: SDSU got some assistance for their bullpen on Friday, adding Pacific freshman Carley Mulcahey, who was pursued by several Mountain West teams before signing with the Aztecs, who sit much closer to her home town of Glendale, CA. Mulcahey tossed 43.1 innings as a freshman in Stockton, posting a relatively impressive 3.72 ERA under the tutelage of her pitching coach, the legendary Keilani Ricketts-Tumanuvao. Mulcahey is an exciting prospect, and should serve as a nice change of pace for the complete disaster that was last year’s Aztec pitching staff.
