The deck has been shuffled in AAA at Guerra de Titanes (Dec. 20, 2025). The top rudo faction has the same name, but there are different members. One of those is the giant Omos.
The story of Omos joining
El Ojo revolves around the match between Ej Hijo de Vikingo and Dragon Lee in a battle to represent the future of lucha libre. This recap video for the storyline has subtitles in English.
The match was full of fireworks. Dragon launched for a suicide dive onto the Spanish announce table.
Vikingo thought he was slick on an inverted 360 rana attempt, but Dragon was slicker to roll through for the Styles Clash. After the kick out, Dragon kept the momentum hot by hurdling over the ropes for a rana down to the floor.
This is where the match got wacky. Dragon went for another dive outside, but Vikingo pulled the referee in front to take the bump. Back in the ring, Vikingo swung a chair and missed the mark. Dragon walloped him with the Operation Dragon finisher. It was an easy three count, however, the referee was still down. Vikingo took advantage for a low blow.
Next came Omos. The giant sauntered to the ring. Vikingo looked weary about the uninvited guest. Dragon went on the attack. Omos squatted him with a huge powerbomb. I love the way Dragon sells the lift by waving his arms helplessly.
Vikingo still appeared unsure of what was going on, but he didn’t let the opportunity pass by. Vikingo landed a 450 splash to pin Dragon, and Omos retrieved the referee to count the win.
The puzzle pieces came together afterward when Dorian Roldan entered the ring to declare Vikingo, Omos, and himself as the new version of El Ojo. Roldan and Vikingo shared an enthusiastic hug. A note for die-hard lucha libre aficionados, Bestia del Ring, who is father of Dragon Lee, Rush, and Dralistico, was in the front row as Roldan insulted that wrestling family.
To recap the history of El Ojo, Alberto Del Rio led the faction backed by Dorian Roldan’s power. The crew primarily included El Mesias, Mecha Wolf, Sanson, and Forastero. After Alberto lost the Mega Championship to Vikingo, tensions grew for El Patron to part ways. Roldan had the stroke to book Alberto against Mesias with the stipulation that Alberto is gone from AAA if he loses. He lost. Over the next few months, Roldan grew tired of the others losing matches. AAA aired a scene with Roldan sending a mystery giant into the locker room to beat them up. For Vikingo, the fans turned on him through no fault of his own, so the character embraced the heat to become a rudo. All the while Roldan was in the background recruiting him little by little. That leads to the reset for El Ojo at Guerra de Titanes (full results).
