The Dallas Mavericks host the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night. It’s the last home game in a five-game stretch where they’ve underperformed, going just 1-3 so far. The Pacers have had two days rest after
losing their third straight game. Indiana is still winless. The game starts at 7:30 pm CST.
Dallas enters this game after losing to the Thunder in a game they were out of until Oklahoma City forgot the game is four quarters, not three. Weird Dallas lineups got the Mavericks back into the game but they did not have enough juice to pull this one out.

On the injury front, Kyrie Irving and Dante Exum are out for Dallas. Daniel Gafford and Dereck Lively are each listed as doubtful. Brandon Williams is listed as questionable following his arrest for marijuana. Anthony Davis is on the injury report for issues with Achilles tendons, but he’s probable. The Pacers are struggling to field a team right now. Tyrese Haliburton is out for the season (likely) due to his Achilles tear in the NBA Finals. TJ McConnell is out with a hamstring strain. Bennedict Matherin, Andrew Nembhard, Obi Toppin, Kam Jones, Johnny Furphy are all out. Peter Taelon is listed as doubtful.
Bring on Mac McClung!
There’s some good stuff on the homepage. I’m not going to link write now as I’m in a hurry, but you should go check it out.
As you can tell below, you can join me in a room on Playback (embed below) during the game (though I may not be able to start it until halftime). Also consider joining Josh and I on Pod Maverick live after the game on YouTube, we should start around 10:15 pm. Thanks so much for spending time with us here at Mavs Moneyball. Let’s go Mavs!
