Matheus Camilo is getting a new fight shortly after his Abu Dhabi bout was called off at the eleventh hour as he’s now facing Viacheslav Borshchev at UFC 322 on Nov. 15.
Multiple people with knowledge of
the situation confirmed the news to MMA Fighting.
The pay-per-view event will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York, topped by a championship doubleheader with Jack Della Maddalena vs. Islam Makhachev and Valentina Shevchenko vs. Weili Zhang.
Camilo (9-3) was slated to face Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady at UFC 321, but sat without an opponent during fight week and unable to get a replacement. Now back in action in New York, the Brazilian has the chance to score his first UFC victory after a debut defeat to Gabe Green in May.
Borshchev (8-6-1) joined the UFC in 2021 following a knockout over Chris Duncan and has since gone 3-5-1 with three bonuses cashed inside the octagon. The 33-year-old Russian has his back against the wall after losing his past two against Tom Nolan and Terrance McKinney in 2025.
