We are officially down to four teams left vying for the World Series title. The Brewers eliminated the Cubs last night, and now they get to host the Dodgers to kick off the NLCS.
However, the American League Championship Series starts first, the Seattle Mariners travel north of the border to take on the Toronto Blue Jays. These teams ended as the top two seeds in the American League, as the Blue Jays raked their way past their divisional rival, New York Yankees in four games. While the Mariners had
to get through Tarik Skubal twice, and winning an all-time thriller in 15 innings to beat the Detroit Tigers in five games.
First pitch is scheduled for 7:03 p.m. CT. The Mariners are sending right hander Bryce Miller to the bump to start game one. Miller started game four of the Tigers series, he went 4.1 innings, giving up four hits, two runs and striking out a pair as well.
Here are the Mariners starters behind Miller.
The Blue Jays are sending right hander Kevin Gausman to the hill to start game one. Gausman started game one against the Yankees. He went 5.2 innings, giving up four hits and one run, while walking two and striking out three, he was the winning pitcher.
The Blue Jays starters behind Gausman look like this.
I personally will be cheering for the Mariners as one of best friends from college is from Seattle, so let’s hope they break the streak and win it all this year.
The game can be watched on Fox.
