Brennan Marion is an exciting hire for any long-term CU fan. He has been on the fanbase’s radar since 2021. Now that he’s here, the Colorado Buffaloes are seeing immediate recruiting dividends that feel
nothing but expected and earned. Coach Prime has made himself a hell of a hire here.
Marion brings his own branded scheme (very Deion Sanders-esque) called the Go-Go offense. The Go-Go offense blends a lot of option and run and shoot concepts into a weird and fun blend. We know that JuJu Lewis will be given the full reign of the offense, with Jordan Seaton protecting his blind side. Now, the Buffs need to surround him talent.
Enter Kam Perry.
Perry is one of 50-60 expected transfers in for the Buffs during this portal season. However, past the quantity number, this guy is as high-quality as it gets.
While playing for the Cradle of Coaching, Miami of Ohio, Kam Perry had almost 1,000 yards receiving last year. Most importantly, he was third in the country in yards per catch at 23.3. In Marion’s offense, the wideouts will be expected to get open deep and often. It is a big shot offense. Perry fits right in. Despite a relatively smaller frame, the former Indiana transfer is a magician with the ball in the air and knows how to position himself for a contested catch. He will play often for the Buffs.
Welcome, Kam!
