The Cardinals could not pull out a win against the Giants in Week Four and more questions are now rearing their head in regards to the future of the quarterback position in Arizona.
Following their loss, the Cardinals saw a minor drop in ESPN’s latest power rankings, falling from 28th to 29th.
“The Cardinals are still figuring out life under new coach Mike LaFleur,“ says reporter John Weinfuss. ”Following a convincing loss to the Seahawks in Week 2, Arizona has been close in its past two games but
couldn’t overcome a litany of self-inflicted mistakes. Sunday’s matchup ended up with a pick-six thrown by QB Jacoby Brissett on fourth-and-goal. The hope in the locker room is that if the Cardinals can minimize those types of mistakes, they can fix the season.”
The Cardinals have shown they have enough juice to play with good teams, but finding that consistency looks to be the key to unlocking a better week-to-week performance, and that starts at the quarterback position.
