Joe Flacco put on a show against the Pittsburgh Steelers last night, and now the Cleveland Browns are getting blowback for trading him to their division rival.
Not only were Cincinnati Bengals fans thanking
the Browns after Cincinnati’s big win over Pittsburgh, but many in the media have questioned the Browns’ decision making, including prominent voices in Cleveland.
“Why on Earth did you feel the need to trade this guy to a division opponent for a fifth round Draft pick?” asked Tony Rizzo, host of a radio show on ESPN Cleveland. “That is a fireable offense!”
He then went on to say owner Jimmy Haslam cares more about his stadium than his football team. Rizzo also said GM Andrew Berry “screwed this quarterback thing up like I’ve never seen”. He concluded with, “This franchise has become a joke, and I’m sick of it.”
