This game went off the rails early when Tennessee Titans quarterback Cam Ward injured his right shoulder on a seven-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. The injury knocked Ward out for the remainder of the game. Until that point, he had been the only quarterback in the league to take every offensive snap for his team.
Brandon Allen came on in relief of Ward and played exactly how you would expect Brandon Allen to play. The Titans have a lot of things they need to address in the offseason. Backup
quarterback is certainly on that list.
Ward’s injury really made the rest of the game unwatchable, considering the only thing to watch coming in was Ward.
The offseason is officially upon us. We have been waiting to get to this point for over three months here. There are some solid pieces on this team to build around, but they need help at pretty much every spot on the field. It’s time for Mike Borgonzi to get his fingerprints on this team.
The rest of the day will be spent scoreboard watching. As of this writing, the Titans still have a chance to pick as high in the 2026 NFL Draft. Stay tuned for the official 2026 NFL Draft order and all of the other news as we head into a busy week and offseason in Nashville.
