It has been a tumultuous season for the Cleveland Browns’ offense. Up until this game, the Browns had not scored more than 17 points in a single game, so it was gratifying to see the team put 31 points on the board.
Seeing so much action on that side of the ball allowed fans to learn a few things about what this Browns offense is capable of.
- This offense will function at its best when it focuses on involving Quinshon Judkins heavily in the game plan. Judkins finished the day with 84 yards rushing and three touchdowns. He is a very physical runner, and his involvement in this game opened up other areas of the Cleveland offense.
- The Browns’ offense did a nice job with ball security in this matchup. Dillon Gabriel had no interceptions or turnovers, and all the playmakers did a nice job of protecting the ball. When the offense plays a clean game, it helps to set them up for success and doesn’t stunt any promising drives.
- This level of production from the offense really allowed the defense to shine even more. The defense created multiple turnovers in this game, and the offense was able to capitalize on many of those situations. Offensive success can be really motivating for a defense that has felt like they’ve had to do it all this season. It is amazingwhat can be accomplished when the team plays complementary football.
