Tennessee’s conference opponents for the next four seasons have been revealed. The Volunteers will have protected rivalry matchups against Alabama, Vanderbilt and Kentucky each season, along with six rotating
opponents that will round out the schedule for the next handful of seasons.
The SEC will move to nine games starting in 2026, moving on from an eight-game format after adding Texas and Oklahoma. Each team will be required to schedule one power-four opponent also. The three protected rivalry opponents will be revisited every four seasons.
The conference announced the full list of opponents on Tuesday night. The 2026 opponents will flip from home to away and vice versa in 2028. 2027 and 2029 will do the same.
