The Jacksonville Jaguars mollywhopped the Indianapolis Colts in Week 8, moving to 5-2 on the season.
Heck yes.
Here are a few stats that stand out from the win.
1
That’s the number of players in Jaguars history to record a game with 100-plus rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown, 50-plus receiving yards, and 1 receiving touchdown.
We just witnessed The Bhayshul Tuten Breakout Game. And it was glorious.
Tuten became just the sixth Jaguar to score multiple touchdowns of 25-plus yards in the same game.
The only other Jaguar with one rushing touchdown of 25-plus yards and one receiving touchdown of 25-plus yards in the same game is Fred Taylor, who did it in Jacksonville’s divisional round blowout against the Miami Dolphins in January 2000. The only other NFL player to do that so far this season is Jaylen Warren, who also tortured the Colts back in Week 5.
Tuten finished with 106 rushing yards to notch his first 100-yard rushing game at the pro level. By the looks of it, I’d guess it will be the first of many.
“I think with the run game, it started with my reads,” Tuten detailed postgame. “I was much cleaner on it and just harping on my details with my landmarks and that kind of stuff. Just playing fast and physical, not having to worry about anything. Then in the pass game, for me just being where I’m supposed to be. Trev did a great job dumping it down to me. It’s all she wrote from there when the ball’s in my hands. So, I think it was both running and receiving was great for me.”
1.1
That’s how much Expected Points Added (EPA) the Jaguars averaged on pass plays out of 12 personnel (two tight ends), according to SumerSports.
It’s the best such figure by any offense in Week 8 entering Monday Night Football, and the ninth-best such figure by any offense in any game so far this season.
For context, the Los Angeles Rams averaged 0.21 EPA per pass play when Matthew Stafford won MVP last season. When Jacksonville passed with two tight ends on Sunday, their offense was four times as efficient as the 2025 Rams.
Brenton Strange recorded his longest career catch on a 46-yard pickup with a second tight end (Nate Boerkircher) and an extra offensive lineman (Wyatt Milum) on the field. Later, Boerkircher hauled in his longest career touchdown on a 31-yard bomb with three tight ends.
“He wants to see me succeed just as bad as I want to see him succeed,” Boerkircher said of Strange postgame. “Like I said, I am very blessed to be in this situation.”
Trevor Lawrence posted a career-high 153.3 passer rating — despite no Jaguars wide receivers finishing with 25 yards. Tuten and Strange (55 yards apiece) were his top weapons. Liam Coen is like that.

That’s how many consecutive wins of 17-plus points the Jaguars have at EverBank Stadium.
It’s the third-longest such streak of games at a team’s home stadium in NFL history, trailing only the 1999 Super Bowl Champion Rams and the 1948-49 NFL Champion Eagles.
Jacksonville has also scored 34-plus points at EverBank Stadium the same seven-game stretch.
That’s tied for the longest such streak in league history, joining Peyton Manning’s 2012-13 Broncos and Sid Gillman’s 1960-61 Chargers.
The Jaguars’ stadium renovations will prevent them from maximizing their home-field advantage until 2028. In fact, Sunday’s game against Indianapolis was the only game Jacksonville will play at EverBank Stadium over an eight-week stretch this season.
Shoutout to the team for showing out for the city with the few opportunities they have.
“We haven’t been at home much,” Coen said postgame. “Wanted to be able to put on a show for our home fan base and give the people some excitement.”
“We’ve typically played well at home and I think that that’s something these guys take a lot of pride in. They understand and feel the limited opps that we do have in this stadium, that we want to take advantage of those opportunities and jump out. And we played complementary football. Typically when we do that and we’re getting turnovers and we’re able to get some points off of turnovers, that’s usually a recipe for success and our guys kind of sense that. They feel that. They do a nice job of capitalizing on that.”
